Freight Broker – Logistics Coordinator
Location: St. Charles, MO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

A well-established, asset-based transportation company headquartered in St. Charles, MO is seeking a Freight Broker to join its fast-paced and dynamic Brokerage Department. This is a great opportunity for individuals with freight brokerage experience who thrive in a service-driven environment and are looking to grow within the logistics industry.

The company specializes in cross-border logistics solutions across Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

Match customer freight with qualified carriers
Manage freight and relationships with current customers
Develop and maintain a strong carrier base
Identify and generate new freight opportunities
Dispatch drivers and ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Plan, track, and trace freight movements to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications & Skills:

Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Familiarity with cold calling and carrier development
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with AS400 preferred
Previous experience in brokerage, logistics, or sales is required
Existing customer and/or carrier relationships are a plus
